At the age of six months old Mackenzie was introduced to horses and her first pony ‘Coco’ sealed the deal. Her passion for horses grew rapidly and Mackenzie found herself dabbling in a variety equestrian disciplines including hunters, dressage and eventing. Ultimately her love and appreciation for the hunter jumper world took over. In 2017, Mackenzie competed on the A Circuit in the Children’s Hunters with a very influential horse, Hot Gossip K or better known as Norma. Even though still a junior, this was when Mackenzie knew her life with horses was only just starting
As a grade 12 student Mackenzie decided to complete her final year of high school online and take a job opportunity in Wellington FL with Anne Kursinski. When she returned she began a boutique style breeding program and began a small string of lease and sales horses. Fast forward and now Mackenzie has 2-3 foals each year and many horses leased showing on both the Canadian and American circuits with impressive results. The goal is to build a reputation of representing amateur friendly horses and breeding top quality performance horses.
